Employment gains could help housing inventory

After three months of mediocre gains , the U.S. unemployment situation brightened considerably in March. Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 916,000 and pushed the unemployment rate down to 6%, according to the U.S. Labor Department. WeWork to go public via SPAC merger

Co-working space giant WeWork is the latest real estate firm to join the special purpose acquisition company merger craze. The company revealed this week that it’s planning to merge with BowX Acquisition Corp., which is a SPAC company formed by the management of venture capital fund Bow Capital. Once that merger is complete, WeWork will go public.
