On Monday, homebuilder confidence moved into positive territory for the first time in nearly a year, while Census data on new residential construction showed housing starts rose 21.7% from April, and up 5.7% from May 2022, to 1.63 million.

Title premium volume drops 43% year over year in Q1

In the first three months of the year, the title industry generated $3.37 billion in title insurance premiums, down 43% year over year, according to the American Land Title Association ’s Market Share Analysis , released Thursday.
