The stoops and sidewalks of Bed Stuy will once again be art-filled with the return of the annual STooPS Art Crawl, which brings locals out to share their skills and connect with neighbors.

Begun in 2013, the one-day event encourages the hosting of performances and display of art in yards, storefronts, sidewalks and, of course, the stoops of Bed Stuy. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, July 30 from noon to 6 p.m. with activity centered around The Garden of Hope at 392 Hancock Street. Some of the those on the lineup so far include Grammy-winning singer Kendra Foster, dance by Urban Bush Women, Blue Morph Collective, spoken word, visual artists and children’s activities led by Bridges: A Pan-Afrikan ARTS Movement.

For a full list of artists as well as more details on the day, visit the event information online. The free event takes place rain or shine.
