Existing home sales dip downwards for fourth month

Existing home sales fell for the fourth consecutive month in May, down.9% from April to 5.8 million, the National Association of Realtors reported on Tuesday. According to the NAR, despite existing home sales falling, activity is slowly approaching pre-pandemic levels. The low amount of existing homes left on the market continued to experience overheated prices from consistent competition.

Servicers’ forbearance portfolio volume fell 11 basis points last week to 3.93%, according to a survey from the Mortgage Bankers Association. The MBA now estimates 2 million homeowners are still in some form of a forbearance plan. In addition to last week’s drop, every investor category experienced some form of decline.

In a statement, Enverus said it plans to integrate Integrity Title’s technology into a new online platform called Integrity Title Plants.
