Pallet builds durable, portable, and affordable shelters for the more than half a million people facing homelessness across the U.S. They offer a 64 square foot version starting at $4,900 as well as a 100 square foot version starting at $7,000.

Prefabricated at Pallet’s factory headquarters, the shelters are shipped on a wood pallet in seven panel pieces, are built in less than one hour with minimal tools, and come outfitted with beds, climate control, safety features, and electricity.

As of January 2021, Pallet has assembled shelters across 9 states nationwide, including the Riverside community with 30 emergency shelters and the 60 houses they stood up in Sonoma County. In the past year alone, they have created 1,500+ dignified shelter beds.

What we like: A social-purpose company putting an end to unsheltered homelessness; but, Pallet’s mission doesn’t stop with it’s shelters. The majority of its 50+ employees have first-hand lived experience with homelessness, addiction, or incarceration. Turnkey rapid deployment of housing is a win-win all the way around.
