You will get your steps in reaching this fifth floor walk-up, and when you reach the photogenic abode another flight up leads to a private roof deck. In the self-managed co-op at 846 President Street, the one-bedroom unit was renovated with an all-white kitchen, a skylight to bring in more light and a bathroom with a bit of vintage style.

The living area isn’t huge, but it does have that skylight and is open to the kitchen. The kitchen has a fair amount of cabinet space along with marble countertops. The floor plan shows a dishwasher next to the stove, while the listing says the unit has in-unit laundry (perhaps it’s tucked next to the kitchen sink or behind the bathtub).

Pocket doors open to the bedroom, which has room for a queen bed, a wall of closets and the wood floors that extend through most of the apartment.

While the finishes through the rest of the apartment are white, the bathroom got a dose of color with mossy green walls paired with white bead board, a black hex tile floor and a claw foot tub.

If the furnishings appeal to a renter, the listing notes that the owner may be willing to leave some items behind.

Access to the roof deck is via stairs from the common hallway and the floor plan shows the outdoor space as practically equal to the size of the apartment. There is wood decking and room for dining.

In the Park Slope Historic District, the eight-unit building dates to 1882. As noted, it is a self-managed building and the listing states that a tenant will be responsible for “occasional” building duties. What those are is not specified. There is a broker’s fee for the unit and no dogs are allowed.
