This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Prospect Heights, Bay Ridge, Bed Stuy and Prospect Park South. How did they fare?

For those who prefer clean, modern finishes, this Prospect Heights co-op seems more thoughtfully converted than the typical cookie-cutter gut renovation of an historic building. The layout and use of space appear considered — plus because the building dates from the early 20th century, the ceilings are high. Located on the top floor of a four-story, 16-unit walkup near Grand Army Plaza, the compact unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. This former Co-op of the Day sold in October for $875,000, which was $76,000 over the asking price.

In Bay Ridge, an early 20th century brick house has a two-car garage and vintage charm, including an impressive vintage wood-paneled bar in the finished basement. The fully detached building has windows on all four sides, high ceilings, parquet floors and original doors. With a four-bedroom apartment over a three-bedroom apartment, the two-family includes a spacious dining room with paneling and a bathroom with mid-century blue tile. This former Open House Pick entered contract in October.

The interior of this 1890s townhouse is awash with the detail expected of its era, including wainscoting, pocket doors, fretwork, six mantels and plentiful built-ins. At 99 Bainbridge Street in the Stuyvesant Heights Historic District, the two-family also still boasts some 19th century technology such as an intercom and working dumbwaiter, according to the listing. This former House of the Day sold in December for $2.55 million, which was $301,000 over the asking price.

Described in the designation report as “one of the finest neo-Tudor houses in Prospect Park South,” this detached single-family retains its exterior detail, including the expected half timbering, diamond-paned windows and a distinctive chimney. In the Prospect Park South Historic District, 187 Marlborough Road is similarly rich in detail on the interior and also boasts an original garage with its own Tudor Revival features. This former House of the Day entered contract in August.
