Police officers with Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach teamed up with officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to rescue the manatee near the Manatee Lagoon. A spokesman at Manatee Lagoon said the manatee is being treated for a severe lung infection.
