It is months away, but perhaps thinking about an illuminated cold-season walk through the crisp air at Brooklyn Botanic Garden will get you through the rest of the summer heat.

The glimmering spectacle, which debuted in 2021, will light up the garden from November 16 through January 8, 2023, with some new works by local and international artists and a new illuminated trail. Some of the features from last year, including the Winter Cathedral so popular in many an Instagram post, will also be back.

Attendees will be able to enjoy an evening stroll along a one-mile trail winding through the 52-acre garden with stops along the way for food, drinks and photos. Special events, including a Family Benefit Evening with proceeds going to support BBG’s youth education programs, are being planned to take advantage of the installation.

Tickets for the show are already on sale. The entry fee for adults is $40 ($36 for members), while tickets for children age 3 to 12 are $20 ($18 for members). For more information and to book tickets, visit the event page online.
