This week, we interviewed Will Armstrong from Ivan AI.

Without further ado…

Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Will Armstrong and I am the founder & CEO of Ivan AI, a property management software built on artificial intelligence and machine learning. As a former project manager, I oversee the design and development of the software to ensure peak performance and operational readiness before entering the market.

What problem does your product/service solve?

As a landlord myself, I self-manage my properties from 500 miles away. With the size of my portfolio, I’ve never justified paying 8 – 12% of my gross rental income to a traditional property manager. I created Ivan to help me better manage my properties by automating tasks like maintenance management, payments, leasing, reporting, and more. Ivan is available 24/7, responds in seconds, and is a fraction of the cost of a traditional property manager.

What are you most excited about right now?

Tech is advancing rapidly and it’s integration into society is becoming more prevalent by the day. The property management industry relies on many old school methods and practices which opens the window of opportunity for exponential growth and development in this sector. What excites me is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in this industry by introducing modern solutions to old school issues.

What’s next for you?

Although things are progressing nicely, there is still much work to be done! We will be rolling out a beta version later this year and have an official launch planned for January 2022. Until then, I’ll be working on product development and testing. If you are interested in beta testing, please feel free to visit our website and join the wait-list! Your help would be invaluable.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

A cause I am passionate about is helping fight homelessness. I’ve been very fortunate in life and have never had to experience the feeling of not knowing where I am going to sleep, or when I’ll be able to eat. I can’t cure homelessness, but I can help those around me who are less fortunate by providing food, basic hygiene necessities, a smile, and the acknowledgment that they are not alone in this world.
