In our latest real estate tech entrepreneur interview, we’re speaking with Istvan Fehervari from Homebourse.

Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Istvan Fehervari, and I’m the Founder & CEO of Homebourse, the New Construction Hub. I am a real estate lawyer, but real estate means much more to me than work; it’s my main focus of interest and my hobby as well. Real estate is a good combination of my passion for tech and digitalization that led me to come up with the idea of Homebourse. I created this company and assembled a team of real estate professionals and tech experts to develop a solution that introduces unprecedented simplicity to the industry by connecting potential buyers worldwide to the hottest new construction projects in the U.S.

What problem does your product/service solve?

Numerous services and initiatives exist to address specific needs, such as offering local listings of new construction projects or facilitating online offer submissions. Homebourse stands out from other services by offering a comprehensive solution that covers the entire process of new development projects. We serve as a hub for new construction projects, providing an easy-to-use experience that supports decision-making and sales acceleration. Our platform offers online offer management, AI support, and assistance in creating binding agreements. Additionally, we provide independent new development experts to help users achieve their goals, whether they’re investing or seeking a second home. As the New Construction Hub, Homebourse is the go-to platform for discovering hot new projects, learning the finest details about new construction from our knowledge base, making informed decisions, and initiating the buying process online or traditionally.

What are you most excited about right now?

We’ve just launched our campaign to build supply and have received over 100 projects in South Florida, where our headquarters is located. The level of interest from our partners is so high that our team is struggling to upload the projects to the platform as quickly as we receive them. I’m particularly excited about our AI agent, which will provide support to our users and have comprehensive knowledge about all the projects. The current changes in the new construction market are incredibly exciting. The emergence of startups offering digital solutions demonstrates a growing need for digitalization. I’m also curious about the market itself; it will be interesting to see where the developers’ willingness to build and the interest rate environment will lead us in a few years and what value a pre-construction unit reserved today will hold for buyers when they close it in the future.

What’s next for you?

We are launching our B2C campaigns to attract potential buyers for our projects, but our main focus will be increasing our supply, reaching 90% coverage in Florida, and then moving to the next markets. At the same time, we always work on new features to improve our user experience.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I’m genuinely passionate about witnessing future innovations in real estate and PropTech, particularly in terms of sustainability, new architectural solutions, mixed-use projects, and the future of Miami as a rising star of the country. I would love to be part of the industry’s evolution and contribute to it as much as I aspire to Homebourse’s success.
