Role Description

Apartment List is seeking a Growth Product Manager who will be responsible for leading their digital marketing strategies across email, SMS, and push notification channels. This role demands a highly analytical and technical individual who can not only develop and execute comprehensive retention campaigns but also delve deep into data to drive decision-making.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the digitization of complex internal processes and the creation of cutting-edge data products. Your efforts will power multiple customer and business-facing processes, expanding their comprehensive customer view and providing valuable insights that drive strategic decisions across the company.

What You’ll Do as Part of the Team

  • Strategy – Architect and implement sophisticated email, SMS, and push notification retention levers with a strong focus on technical integration and automation.
  • Personalization – Oversee and implement segmentation and personalization of campaigns to ensure targeted and effective communication.
  • Analytics – Lead data-driven strategy, employing advanced analytics, A/B testing, and predictive modeling to optimize campaign performance.
  • Implementation – Collaborate with product and development teams to enhance marketing technology stack and automation capabilities.
  • Compliance – Maintain compliance with data privacy standards and cybersecurity best practices in all marketing initiatives.
  • Leadership – Lead and mentor a team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Innovation – Spearhead the development of machine learning algorithms to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Marketing, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a technical digital marketing role, with extensive experience in email, SMS, and push notification technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing automation, CRM software, and integration with data analytics platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, and machine learning applications.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
