Using https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/ that $347,000 house in 1997 would cost $602,768.19 in today’s dollars. So, there’s more than inflation alone causing these insane prices!

Love the Village Park green belts. No way that gets built today.

Not only that, the buyer has now listed the first house in The Cove for rent – $7,500 a month! Talk about a total lack of affordability. Yes the kitchen remodel looks nice, but the sweet sounds of the Alta Mira pickleball court every night are going to get real old, real fast (the condo association sells memberships to the niche between “will wait in line at Poinsettia park” and “I play at La Costa”). Pretty amazing!
