Why would we want anyone to go through what we went through as a rite of passage ? We have no trouble telling them to decide what they will do with the rest of their lives and encouraging them to incur $25,000 a year in student loan debt to do it, despite the fact there may not be a job waiting for them when they graduate. I begrudge no one.
