They often respond, “ I’m not sure I would trust my 18-year-old to sell real estate!” Our teachers have done their job teaching our children how to learn. We were in and out of government housing and shelters when my life changed significantly; my mom received a section-8 voucher when I was in 6 th grade. It felt like home.
